Tankavaara abrite le seul musée international d’or au monde présentant le passé et le présent de l’orpaillage et de la prospection. L’exposition L’Histoire de l’Or en Laponie présente l’histoire de la prospection de l’or finlandais. L’exposition internationale, Golden World, présente l’histoire de l’or de plus de vingt pays du monde entier. Bienvenue !

🏛 Pysyvät näyttelyt esittelevät Suomen Lapin kultaryntäykset, kultalöytöjä ja legendaarisia kultamaiden henkilöitä, sekä kullan historiaa ympäri maailman.
👥️Vaihtuva näyttely Lapin kullankaivun kasvot esittelee nykykullankaivajia monipolvisine elämäntarinoineen. Esillä 8.5.2026 asti.
🌟 Kullankaivajan aloituspakkaus johdattaa kullanhuuhdonnan historiaan ja kullan tarinaan tähdistä vaskooliin. Pääset kokeilemaan itse kullanhuuhdontaa ja löytämäsi kullan ja korukivet saat pitää.! Ke ja pe klo 14.00, viimeinen kerta 1.4.

As spring progresses, our attention turns to the approaching summer and the gold-panning season. Come to Gold Museum to get in the mood for gold panning!
🏛 The permanent exhibitions showcase the gold rushes of Finnish Lapland, gold discoveries, and legendary figures from the goldfields, as well as the history of gold around the world.
👥️The temporary exhibition “The Faces of Gold Mining in Lapland” introduces modern-day gold miners and their multifaceted life stories. On display until May 8, 2026.
🌟 The Gold Prospector’s Starter Pack introduces you to the history of gold panning and the story of gold, from the stars to the pan. You can try your hand at gold panning, and you get to keep the gold and gemstones you find! Wednesdays and Fridays at 2:00 p.m., last session on April 1.
